Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre (道風山基督教叢林) was one of the earliest centres set up in Shatin to provide a silent retreat and research activities for Christians. The building complex comprises 19 buildings, seven (7) of them are of historic merits including Thelle House. Thelle House is in a style known as Chinese Eclectic (中國折衷式) or Chinese Renaissance (中華復興式). It is rare for a building complex serving for Christian Church in such large scale.
